1Seats: 6 or 7
An Ertiga seats six guests and an Innova Crysta seven, both with the driver up front. The Ertiga's third row is best for children or short hops; adults fit, but not comfortably for six hours. The Innova's third row has more room, and many Innova Crystas have two captain chairs in the middle row, which older passengers find easier to get in and out of.

2How many suitcases fit
With every seat in use, an Ertiga takes only two or three soft bags behind the third row, and an Innova Crysta a little more. Fold the third row and both cars swallow far more: roughly three or four large suitcases in an Ertiga for four guests, and four or five in an Innova for five. These are rough numbers, as bag sizes vary, so tell us how many bags you have and we'll pick the right car.

3Comfort on long Rajasthan drives
Rajasthan tours mean long highway days: Jaipur to Jodhpur is about six hours and Jodhpur to Jaisalmer five. The Innova Crysta is bigger, heavier and smoother on those days, with more legroom and better suspension on rough stretches. The Ertiga is light, easy to park in old-city lanes and perfectly fine for city days and shorter routes like Ajmer, Pushkar or Khatu Shyam Ji.

4Price per km: 6 seater vs 7 seater
With us, an Ertiga is ₹8.5 per km for the car and an Innova Crysta ₹10.5, which works out at about ₹13 and ₹15.5 per km all in, with the driver, tolls, parking, service charge and GST. On a 7-day Rajasthan tour of around 2,100 km, that's about ₹27,000 to ₹31,000 in an Ertiga and ₹31,500 to ₹36,500 in an Innova Crysta, as estimates. We agree the final fare on WhatsApp before you book.

5Which one to pick
Pick the Innova Crysta for five or more adults, for older parents, for big suitcases, or for a tour with several long driving days. Pick the Ertiga for four guests with medium bags, or for six on short trips and city days, and save about ₹5,000 a week. For eight to twelve people, a tempo traveller costs less than two cars and keeps the group together.
