About this package

On day one you drive 310 km south to Chittorgarh and spend the afternoon inside the fort: the Vijay Stambh, Rana Kumbha's palace, Rani Padmini's Palace and the Meera temple, with the light and sound show in the evening. Day two is the short drive to Udaipur and an afternoon at City Palace and on Lake Pichola. On day three you drive into the hills to Kumbhalgarh, whose wall runs for 36 km, and on to the marble Jain temple at Ranakpur, then back to Udaipur. Day four is the drive north to Pushkar, with darshan at Nathdwara on the way, and day five a morning in Pushkar before the drive home.

Chittorgarh and Kumbhalgarh are both UNESCO World Heritage Sites, part of the Hill Forts of Rajasthan. The Ranakpur temple opens to visitors from noon, so the day is planned around it. Add a night in Udaipur, or Mount Abu, if you have the time.
