1What a Rajasthan tour package includes, and what it doesn't
A Rajasthan tour package from us is your own car and driver for every day of the trip. The price covers the car, fuel, the driver's allowance and his night stay, tolls, parking, any state entry tax if the route leaves Rajasthan, our service charge and GST. Hotels, meals, monument tickets, guides, safaris, camel rides and boat rides are not in it. You choose and pay for those yourself, so you can mix a simple guesthouse in one city with a heritage hotel in the next. The car price stays the same whichever hotels you pick, and the driver stays with you all trip.
2How the price is built up
Every quote is the same sum. Take 7 days in an Ertiga. Each day is charged for at least 300 km, so the car is 2,100 km at ₹8.5 per km, or ₹17,850. The driver's allowance is ₹400 a day, ₹2,800, and his night stay ₹300 a night for 6 nights, ₹1,800. Tolls come to about ₹1,260 and parking to ₹700. That's ₹24,410, and our 10% service charge and 5% GST bring it to about ₹28,200. We quote a range around that, ₹26,800 to ₹31,000, because the route and stops change it. These are estimates, and the final fare is agreed on WhatsApp before you book.
33 and 5 days: one or two regions
Three days is charged at 900 km, enough for Jaipur and Jodhpur, or Jaipur with Pushkar and Ajmer. As estimates, that's ₹9,300 to ₹10,800 in a Dzire, ₹11,300 to ₹13,050 in an Ertiga and ₹13,250 to ₹15,350 in an Innova Crysta. Jaisalmer in 3 days is about 1,270 km there and back, so it costs more: about ₹12,150 to ₹14,050 in a Dzire. Five days, charged at 1,500 km, fits a southern loop through Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh. That comes to ₹15,750 to ₹18,250 in a Dzire, ₹19,050 to ₹22,050 in an Ertiga and ₹22,350 to ₹25,850 in an Innova Crysta.
47 and 10 days: the full Rajasthan loop
Seven days lets you see Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur without rushing, with long drives on four of the days. Charged at 2,100 km, it's about ₹22,200 to ₹25,700 in a Dzire, ₹26,800 to ₹31,000 in an Ertiga and ₹31,400 to ₹36,350 in an Innova Crysta. Ten days, charged at 3,000 km, adds Pushkar, Ranakpur or Mount Abu and rest days between the long drives: about ₹31,800 to ₹36,850 in a Dzire, ₹38,400 to ₹44,450 in an Ertiga and ₹45,000 to ₹52,100 in an Innova Crysta. Because each day counts as at least 300 km, a day spent in one city costs the same as a driving day.
5Our tour packages and their starting prices
Each package is a car and driver, priced from the smallest car, as an estimate. The Rajasthan Sightseeing Tour covers Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur in 7 to 10 days, about 1,500 km, from ₹20,400. The Golden Triangle Tour of Jaipur, Agra and Delhi is 4 days from ₹12,400, or 6 days with Ranthambore from ₹18,100. The Mewar Tour of Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Kumbhalgarh is 5 days from ₹15,000. The Desert Triangle of Bikaner, Jaisalmer and Jodhpur is 6 days from ₹17,550, and Udaipur and Mount Abu is 6 days from ₹17,900. The Jaisalmer Desert Safari takes 3 to 4 days from ₹11,450, and our 2-day trips cost from ₹5,600 to ₹6,750.
6Ways to keep the cost down
Fewer days is the biggest saving: each day you drop takes about ₹4,000 off an Ertiga quote. End the tour in Udaipur or Jodhpur, which both have airports and trains, rather than driving the last long day back. If you only need to get from one city to another, a one-way cab costs less than keeping a car: Jaipur to Udaipur is about ₹3,900 to ₹4,500 in a Dzire. Fit the group into one car. Six people sharing an Ertiga for 7 days pay about ₹4,450 to ₹5,150 each, against ₹44,400 to ₹51,400 for two Dzires. Our car fares are worked out the same way all year, but hotels and desert camps cost more over Diwali, Christmas and New Year.
